About Loadside Power
Loadside Power originates industrial on-site power and energy projects, qualifying commercial opportunities before manufacturer-side engineering and equipment procurement begins. It works with industrial facilities, infrastructure owners, developers and project partners, and it operates across markets rather than within a single region.
What Loadside Power is
Loadside Power is a project origination company. It works on the customer's side of the meter, which is where the economics of an industrial energy decision are actually settled: in the plant's load profile, fuel position, operating hours, thermal demand and production plans.
The company identifies projects that may be justified, commercially qualifies them, collects the site and energy information that settles the question, determines whether a project deserves technical review, introduces manufacturer-side engineering for qualified projects, and helps advance the commercial project from there.
What project origination means
Origination is the commercial work that happens before an equipment tender exists. It means identifying the trigger that creates an opportunity, establishing whether the site's fuel, load, tariff and operating conditions can support a project, reviewing the data that settles the question, and coordinating the path to a formal technical and commercial proposal.
Origination is not detailed engineering or construction. It is the commercial work that determines whether a project deserves to proceed before major technical and capital resources are committed.
Why projects are screened before equipment is recommended
Equipment supplied into a project that was never viable can damage everyone involved: the customer's capital, the supplier's reputation and the operator's trust in the next proposal that arrives.
Screening is not a formality. It is the point at which unviable projects are stopped and viable ones are made specific, with the right capacity, fuel basis, operating model and timeline. For that reason a screen can end in a plain no, with the reason and what would have to change.
Where manufacturer-side engineering enters
Engineering enters after screening, not before it. Technical design, equipment configuration, performance guarantees and formal quotations come from qualified manufacturer-side engineering resources. Loadside Power does not perform detailed engineering and does not claim to. Its responsibility is the commercial architecture of the project and the integrity of the process that leads to it.
What Loadside Power does not do
Loadside Power is not an EPC contractor, an engineering consultancy, an equipment manufacturer, a utility or a generic energy broker. It does not manufacture equipment, perform installation or provide field service. It is also not affiliated with, endorsed by, or an authorized representative of any engine or equipment manufacturer. Manufacturer names that appear on this site describe existing equipment types only.
The projects Loadside Power works on
Gas engine lifecycle decisions. Overhaul, replacement, additional capacity, service and spare-parts problems, and the end of a service contract.
Industrial captive and on-site power. Baseload generation, grid limits, diesel displacement, expansion and resilience.
Waste gas, biogas and landfill gas. Gas-to-value projects from wastewater, waste and industrial by-products.
Critical power and data centers. Grid delay, bridge power, firm on-site generation and island operation.
Food, dairy and process industry. Sites with electricity, steam, hot water and cooling demand running for long hours.
Technology-neutral by design
The company is built to work across technologies: gas engines and CHP, batteries, microgrids, absorption cooling, hybrid systems, fuel solutions and heat recovery. Which technology is appropriate is decided by the project's fuel, load and thermal conditions, not by what a supplier happens to offer.
Global scope
Industrial energy projects are decided by local conditions: fuel price, electricity tariff, grid reliability, regulation and industrial demand. Loadside Power follows those conditions rather than a region. Where a market's fuel, tariff and grid conditions do not support a defensible project, the company says so and steps back.
Working with partners
Service companies, EPCs, developers, gas suppliers and estate operators can see projects forming before anyone else. Loadside Power works with them project by project, agrees terms in writing in advance, and protects the customer relationship of the partner who brought the opportunity.
Getting in touch
Operators can submit a project through the project screening form or write to [email protected] to discuss the situation first. Partnership inquiries go to the same address. Where an opportunity is commercially credible, further technical and commercial data can then be requested.
